Frequently asked questions
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no fixed limit. The practical ceiling is your device's memory, since all the files are held in the browser while merging. Merging a dozen ordinary documents is no problem.
Will merging change the quality of my pages?
No. Pages are copied across exactly as they are, with no re-encoding, so the merged file looks identical to the originals.
Can I choose which pages to include?
This tool merges whole documents. To pull out a page range first, use the Split PDF tool, then merge the pieces you want.
Do bookmarks and form fields survive the merge?
Page content, text and images are preserved. Document-level extras such as bookmarks, form fields and annotations may not carry across, since each source document defines them differently.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Merging happens entirely inside your browser. Nothing is transmitted, and nothing is stored.
