How to use receipt maker

  1. Add your business details

    Name, contact details and an optional logo, remembered on this device.

  2. Add the customer

    Who paid, with an address or email if you want it on the receipt.

  3. List what was paid for

    Items with quantity and price; add tax or a discount if they applied.

  4. Record the payment

    Choose the payment method and tick “Paid in full”, or enter a part payment to show the balance due.

  5. Download the PDF

    Check the preview and download the receipt.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a receipt and an invoice?

An invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms payment has been received. Use the Invoice Generator before you are paid and this tool after.

Can I record a part payment?

Yes. Untick “Paid in full” and enter the amount received. The receipt shows the amount paid and the balance still due.

Which payment methods can I show?

Bank transfer, cash, POS or card, mobile money, or other.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up. Free PDFs carry a small “Made with TinyTools” line at the bottom, which Premium removes.

Is any of my data uploaded?

No. The receipt is created in your browser and downloaded to your device.
