Rotate PDF
Fix sideways pages — all of them, or just the ones that are wrong.
Everything is processed on your device. Nothing you upload or type is sent to a server, and nothing is stored.
Rotate PDF online
A PDF from a scanner or a phone often arrives with some pages on their side, and the rotate button in most readers only turns them on screen — close the file and they are sideways again. This saves the rotation into the document itself, so it travels with the file. Nothing is re-rendered in the process, so the text stays selectable and the file does not get bigger.
How to use rotate pdf
Upload your PDF
Drop in the file with the pages that are the wrong way round.
Pick a direction
A quarter turn right, a quarter turn left, or a half turn for pages that are upside down.

Every page by default. To fix only some, list them like 2, 5, 8-11 — the rest are left exactly as they are.
Download
Save the corrected PDF. The rotation is now part of the file.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my reader's rotate button not stick?
Most viewers treat rotation as a view setting rather than an edit, so it lasts as long as the window is open and is never written back to the file. Anyone you send the PDF to still sees it sideways. This tool changes the page itself and hands you a new file.
Does rotating reduce the quality?
No, not at all. A PDF page carries an orientation value that every viewer applies before drawing it, so turning a page means changing one number — nothing is re-rendered, re-compressed or flattened. Text stays selectable and searchable, and the file size barely moves.
Can I rotate only some of the pages?
Yes. Leave the page box empty to turn everything, or list the ones you want as 2, 5, 8-11. Pages you do not list are untouched, which is what you want for a scan where only a few sheets went through the feeder sideways.
What if a page is already rotated?
The turn is added to whatever the page already had rather than replacing it, so a page that arrived at 90° and gets a quarter turn ends up at 180°. That means what you see is what turns — you do not have to work out the page's underlying orientation first.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened and re-saved in your browser, so it never leaves your device. That also makes it instant, even on a document with hundreds of pages.
